Are you an adventurous and nature-loving camper? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Our farm is skirted by the Starzenbauer forest where you have immediate and easy access to walking trails and the Falkensteiner bike route, that leads through the front Bavarian Forest. Also the beautiful “Höllbachtal” welcomes you into it’s amazing walkways amongst the gushing wild water creek and it’s unmistakably huge boulder formations. Seemingly each hill here has a tiny, middlesized or huge castle or a castle ruin, so feel free to vivit these sites in Brennberg, Falkenstein, Zell, Siegenstein oder Lobenstein.

As the seasons change, our farm transforms into a natural haven, each season offering a unique camping experience.

In spring, witness the rejuvenation of nature as wild flowers start blooming everywhere, creating a colourful and vibrant backdrop for your camping adventure. 

When summer arrives you can bask in the warm sun and explore the beauty of the Bavarian Forest. The nearby Falkensteiner public pool is perfect to cool down on a hot day. Other sightseeing daytrips could include the Walhalla by Donaustauf, the Donaustaufer Castle or the Rivers Danube or the Regen.

As fall sets in, soak up the stunning colors of the changing leaves, turning the surroundings into a beautiful canvas. It’s the perfect time for leisurely nature walks and embracing the tranquility of the changing season.

In winter, our farm undergoes a magical transformation into a serene winter wonderland, inviting you to experience the enchantment of camping amidst the snowy landscape.

In our farm shop, you have the possibility to purchase our own organic poultry and beef. 

We offer you an extraordinary nature experience where you have the opportunity to switch off from the hectic pace of everyday life.

Information & Terms and Conditions

Private Camping Pitches on the Farm (Not a commercial campsite)

Thank you for your interest in the privately offered camping pitches on our organic farm.
Below you will find all relevant information and applicable terms and conditions. Please read these carefully. By making a booking or entering the property, you acknowledge and accept the following information and conditions as binding.

1. Type and Location of the Camping Pitches

• Up to three nature-oriented camping pitches are available on our private property.
• The availability of these camping sites may vary depending on circumstances and is not freely selectable at all times (e.g. herd movements, agricultural work, or weather conditions).
• The sites are located outside the main farm area, some of them in secluded locations and without infrastructure.
• There is no entitlement to a specific site.

2. Occupancy & Number of Guests

• Only one camping group is accepted at a time.
• A maximum of 6 persons per group is permitted (capacity of sanitary facilities).
• The price varies seasonally (approx. €20–27 per night). Electricity: €3 per night.
• Subletting or transfer of the site to third parties is not permitted.
• Reservations are only possible by prior personal agreement (phone / message). Unannounced arrivals without confirmation do not entitle guests to a site.
• A registration form in accordance with the German Federal Registration Act (Bundesmeldegesetz) must be completed and signed on site.

3. Agricultural Operations

• The farm is an active agricultural business with direct marketing (farm shop).
• Animal movements (including cattle, geese, chickens), machinery operation, as well as smells, dirt, dust and noise may occur at any time.
• These circumstances do not constitute a defect and do not justify any price reduction.
• There is no entitlement to “typical campsite tranquility.”

4. Nature & Character of the Offer

• Our concept stands for “Adventure & Bavarian Wilderness” – natural, simple, and authentic.
• The camping pitches are not part of a developed campsite, but located in open natural surroundings.
• The terrain is unsecured and directly borders forests and natural areas.
• Particularly suitable for couples and individual travelers seeking nature and tranquility.
• Families with small children should carefully consider whether the natural character meets their needs.
• The farm buildings are listed heritage properties, intentionally rustic and preserved in their original state.
• Sanitary facilities (bathroom/toilet) are located at the farm buildings and are reachable on foot.
• Entry into the forest and surrounding land is at your own risk.

5. Safety & Liability (Important Notice)

Our property is not a secured recreational or camping area.

Potential hazards include (non-exhaustive list):

• Free-roaming horned cattle (not tame)
• Electric fences; pastures with a bull (entry strictly prohibited)
• Two unfenced ponds (use at own risk)
• Pasture crossings with possible herd encounters
• Two trampolines without safety nets
• Unsecured stream courses
• Agricultural machinery traffic
• Presence of wild boar, European adders (vipers), stinging nettles, poisonous plants, etc. have been sighted

6. Liability:

• Staying on the farm and camping areas is entirely at your own risk.
• Parents or legal guardians are responsible for their children.
• No liability is assumed for personal injury, property damage, or financial loss, except in cases of intent or gross negligence (§ 276 German Civil Code).
• Child supervision is not provided.

7. Sanitary Facilities & Waste Disposal

• Separate bathroom for Campers and Visitors with toilet, shower, and bathtub available
• No washing machine
• No disposal of chemical toilets possible
• Greywater disposal and freshwater supply available
• Household waste disposal by prior agreement
• Please do not leave waste, cigarette butts, or dog waste bags in nature

8. Fire, Barbecues & Quiet Hours

• Enclosed fireplaces or barbecues are permitted only under strict compliance with current fire regulations and weather conditions
  (a fire bowl can be borrowed from the farm upon request).
• Instructions from the farm operator must be followed at all times.
• Open fires may be prohibited at any time.
• Please respect animals, nature, neighbors, and other guests (night-time quiet hours).
• Disturbances, environmental pollution, or dangerous behavior will result in immediate exclusion.

9. Animals & Dogs

• Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control at all times (including proper waste disposal).
• Dogs must not roam freely on the property.
• Entry into pastures with dogs is strictly prohibited.
• We have a farm dog that is not free-roaming and is always kept under supervision.

10. Right of Refusal & House Rules

We reserve the right to refuse admission or terminate a stay without stating reasons, particularly in cases of:

• Violation of rules
• Endangerment of people, animals, or nature
• Inappropriate or disrespectful behavior

In such cases, no refund will be granted.
The house rules and authority remain solely with the farm operator.

11. Data Protection (GDPR Notice)

• Personal data (e.g. registration forms) are processed exclusively to fulfill legal obligations.
• Data will only be shared with third parties where legally required.
